I was a senior visual designer at F5. While there, I got to work of a wide range of projects- including ad campaigns, reports that showcased data and information in delightful and informative ways, and custom zoom backgrounds.
F5 wanted a campaign to celebrate their security offerings. The illustrations showcased the idea that no matter what programs, APIs, or services your company used; F5 could secure that. I worked with a small team of creatives to develop this visual style and messaging.
These ads were the first step in this campaign, which will extend further throughout 2023.
Banners for the website were made as well. The tone of some of the topics didn’t always fit the whimsy of the main illustrations, so additional illustrations were made that matched the layout and color of the campaign, but with more abstract security imagery.
A new illustration style was developed by the F5 Creative Studio. I took part in creating unique illustrations adapted from this core design and established assets to represent different use cases and applications of services. These illustrations can be seen throughout the site.
Social media was an important tool for communicating events, resources, and updates to customers. F5 had multiple different groups working within it who often had different design needs. Our goal was to provide assets that fit those unique needs while maintaining a cohesive and unified brand design.
Our new work from home life needed the occasional pick-me-up. I created seasonal illustrated zoom backgrounds that were distributed through the company.
